Rock-influenced country singer Bucky Covington first rose to fame in 2006 as the eighth-place finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. In April 2007, Bucky’s self-titled debut album Bucky Covington was released and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album produced three top twenty hits for him on the Hot Country Songs charts, and included A Different World, It’s Good to Be Us, and I’ll Walk. Bucky is won of only three male country artists since 2005 to have three consecutive Top Ten singles from a debut album.
